Ultimate Music

As everyone, or almost everyone, knows... the new, live-action "Beauty and the Beast" came out in theaters Friday, March 17th. If you have yet to see this movie, I highly recommend going to see it as soon as possible! This movie was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time! Before I continue, I just am going to state that I will NOT be giving away spoilers! Nobody likes those kinds of people!

First off, let's start with the graphics and animation. My goodness, it was one of the best I've ever seen in a movie of similar stature! All of the characters that were CGI looked so realistic, unlike in some movies where you can totally tell that it's CGI. Cogsworth and Lumiere looked so life-like I almost forgot that they were just computer graphics! The dinner scene was probably my favorite part as far as the graphics go! Totally sprints past the amazing-ness of the animated movie!

Secondly, the acting. The acting was simply beautiful! Emma Watson made a great Belle! I wouldn't have wanted to see anyone else but her play the iconic part. I also loved Gaston and LeFou's actors, they were simply amazing. Luke Evans really portrays a more...realistic approach of how annoyingly attractive Gaston was on the outside and even more how much of a player he was. Do not even get me started on Dan Stevens as the Beast/Adam! He really gave him some well deserved justice! And that makeup, though! He looked like an actual beast-like creature!

Thirdly, the costuming. The costuming was simply amazing and gorgeous! Gaston's outfit was, in my opinion, ten times better than that of the animated movie. Belle's ball gown, yes..the iconic yellow ball gown, made me squeal in excitement for how gorgeous it was! I imagined myself wearing the beautiful dress and dancing around as if I were a Disney princess. Beast's make-up (yes, I'm bringing it up again, it is considered costuming after all!) was simply "on point," and looked so realistic.

Last, but definitely not least, the music. The score for this movie completely outshines that of the 1991 animated movie. There are the iconic songs that everybody knows and loves as well as some new songs and some songs that appear on the Broadway version of the movie. The score will make any Disney music lover fan girl! It is simply amazing!

Once again, I'll state, if you haven't gone to see this movie yet, then you absolutely must go so very soon! You won't be disappointed!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
