Let's admit it, taking "L's" is a lot easier than taking W's sometimes so we need to do our best as college students to prevent that from happening. Being successful in a crowded place with unlimited distractions could be difficult, but there are definitely ways to ensure that no L's or maybe just a few will be taken during this semester of school.
1. Staying on Track at All Times
This might be a given but for someone who has gotten sick probably more times than the average college student, I am telling you to please be aware of your health at all times. DO NOT share drinks with anyone no matter how much you want something you could always get it another way. Getting sick during college can easily make an "L" for you and your experience, so make sure that you're taking your vitamins and being cautious of everything.
3. Going To Class
4. Being Happy and Content
5. Keeping Your Surroundings Clean
When your room is a mess it's easy to "temporarily" misplace things and waste time out of your day looking for them. When you clean maybe even just for five minutes you will see a major difference between the four walls that you live in. If you always keep your space somewhat manageable then you'll be able to find your things and maybe be even a little bit less stressed than usual when you come back from class at the end of the day.
6. Studying For Your Tests
7. Sleeping For More Than 3 Hours
Napping is the best thing eve invented but at the day you need to get somewhat of a sleep if you want to make it to your class in the morning. Sleep is proven to help with academic performance and increase your chance of not getting sick due to the strength of your body and your immune system. So do your best to get to bed at (somewhat) of a reasonable time so you can thrive during the week and do your best in school.
8. Eating the most important meal of the day
This might sound unnecessary to some but breakfast is the most important meal of the day and without it, you might struggle at some points. A sip of coffee or some eggs and toast could make the difference of you getting a slight question wrong on your test due to your concentration within that time period. If you eat well in the morning, chances are your brain will be happy too which will translate into your work.
9. Constantly checking your portal
"Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don't give up hope. Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround yourself with happy, warm and genuine people."
