Take me back to the days where jumping through a sprinkler was the scariest thing you ever had to do.
Take me back to the days where your backyard could be any place you wanted it to be.
Take me back to the days where giving someone a flower necklace meant you would be friends forever.
Take me back to the days where mac and cheese and applesauce were an acceptable meal, not a sign that you are too busy or broke.
Take me back to the days where McDonald's was a treat that you had to beg for.
Take me back to the days of Barbies and Bratz and Polly Pockets.
Take me back to the days of Bop-Its and Skip-Its.
Take me back to the days of "That's So Raven" and "Lizzie McGuire" and "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody."
Take me back to the days where your biggest concern was how many people you could invite to a birthday party.
Take me back to the days where your most exciting moment was trick-or-treating in your new costume with your family.
Take me back to the days of single digit multiplication.
Take me back to the days of coloring pages in class.
Take me back to the days of school dances, as awkward as they were.
But those days have passed.
Now we are in the days of exams and perpetual studying.
The days of heartbreak and stress.
The days of worry and frustration.
They seem like the hardest moments of our life and those past days seem so much better.
But are they? At the time we could not wait to grow up. Why do we regret growing up so much now?
There is so much to live for now. We have friends, we have our future, we have our family.
Let's look at the bright side of life now rather than how good we think the past was.
Let go and live. Live in the moment. Live it to the fullest.
