"Schitt's Creek" is hilariously relatable in the most unrelatable way. If that makes no sense, just watch the first few episodes and let the humor sink in. I've been obsessed with the Rose family since Season 1 and with each new season, I get more sucked in. I even got my family to fall in love with the comedy and heartwarming character progression.

From Moira's fabulous wigs to Roland's oblivion, the show has got it all.

Among all the other outstanding Emmy nominations this year, "Schitt's Creek" deserves all of the recognition. The sixth and final season recently aired and I absolutely can't wait until it's on Netflix so I can get my fix.

For those of you who haven't watched Schitt's Creek yet, 1 - what the hell are you waiting for? and 2 - you really should. It's a hilarious six-season show that follows a family who falls from their luxurious and rich lifestyle to a small town with little-to-nothing. The family is comprised of four, Johnny Rose (father), Moira Rose (mother), and their adult children David Rose (son) and Alexis Rose (daughter). Each have an incredibly unique personality and are adapting to living in close quarters instead of their old ways. Enough with the synopsis of the show (just go watch it - I promise it'll become a quick favorite), but instead it's what Schitt's Creek embodies that is what I'm adapting into my life.

1. Recognizing everyone everywhere you go.

2. Not being afraid to walk around the streets at night because you know the most that will happen is a dog barking.

3. Knowing every street around town and feeling like a ~Class A~ tour guide when company visits.

4. Not only knowing your classmates, but also knowing their parents, siblings, and all their hopes and dreams.

5. Knowing all the gossip around town because nothing is hidden in a community that small.

6. Feeling incredibly proud when your town takes a business step up in the world.

7. Laughing snootily when people tell you they came from a "small town" of 10,000 people.

8. The fair is basically the biggest event all year.

9. There is no high school. There is only a "Central School" which encompasses ALL grades.

10. Having to use a big city to explain where you're from in proximity to that.

11. People riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles to school.

12. "Parties" are basically just people gathered around a bonfire in the woods.

13. Having about 15-20 farms scattered around a ten mile radius.

14. Hating the fact that your town is so small and constantly dissing it.

15. But at the end of the day knowing it holds a special place in your heart and you will always love it.
