Spring Break Season is here and sadly not all of us were lucky enough to go off to Miami or the Punta Cana, but we can dream! The best way to get yourself somewhere sunny and 75 from the comfort of three layers of sheets in bed is by online shopping bathing suits for the summer. I've partnered with the fashion Instagram account Pool Party Trends (shoot them a follow!) to bring to you the hottest swimsuit trends for Summer '18.

Pool Party Trends and I want nothing more than to see you all flourish this summer in these cute, Insta worthy bathing suits. Let the thirst trap Snapchat's and Instagram pictures commence!

1. High cut retro one-pieces

Retro clothing from the '80s and '90s has made a major comeback, and I think this particular bathing suit is super flattering on literally every body type. Side boob and booty are a major trend right now as well, and this flirty one piece gives you the best of both worlds. Pool Party Trends recommends wearing a low cut bikini bottom to tan in which will result in the tan line making the cut of the bathing suit itself pop.

2. Cut-out and bandage style

This style bathing suit offers your girls support while allowing you to show off some skin in a tasteful way. I think this style is also very flattering and allows for you to show off your daring side. Last summer really launched the popularity of this style in my opinion, and it's even more prevalent in 2018. You'll end the summer with tan lines that will remind you just how epic Summer '18 was.

3. Bikinis with uniform patterns and revealing bottoms

This is one of my absolute favorite styles. As Instagram models, girls I follow, and I promote on the regular, the cheeky/itsy bikini bottom paired with a cute bikini top is what's dominating social media. Booty is in and I don't foresee it going anywhere anytime soon, as does Pool Party Trends, who says mixing and matching tops and bottoms is an absolute faux-pas, and I'm guilty as charged.

4. Southwest/boho patterns

This is a brand new trend that Pool Party Trends has discovered for this upcoming season. I ship it because it's sleek and intricate yet simple at the same time. This type of look is making a major presence at pool parties due to its quirky prints and overall casual look. The off the shoulder top is making a take-off too and I'm excited to see people rocking more and more of them this summer. Also, all the power to the ladies rocking that fancy body jewelry.

5. Croquet

I love that this is going to be a big 2018 trend. When I saw girls wearing croquet bikinis last summer, I knew this was a trend that wasn't going anywhere. The retro '70s vibe is making a comeback and it's here to make a statement. The high neck style is also accentuated perfectly in this style, and it adds a new layer of intricacy to a normally simplistic bathing suit.

6. Mesh or sheer

Mesh inserts in leggings are hot right now, and they're even hotter when it comes to bathing suits. The mesh is super sexy but still classy at the same time. You reveal a little and leave the rest for them to guess. I for one am very excited about shopping for this style. Mesh body wraps are going to be big too, so if that perfect mesh bathing suit doesn't happen, get a cute wrap instead. Can I also say that I am obsessed with high-waisted bottoms because they make every single girl who wears them look fabulous?

General PSA: No bathing suit is complete without a complementary pair of sunnies. Highly suggest Target or Charlotte Ruse when searching for your perfect pair because they're not expensive and have a wide variety to choose from.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
