I'm A Woman Who Supports Trump, Get Over It

I'm A Woman Who Supports Trump, Get Over It
Wiki

January 20, 2017, Trump is officially president and our country is divided. Never had I seen an election separate our country more. Social Media is blowing up with #notmypresident and #impeachTrump.

Trump is still president. As far as we know, he will be for the next three and a half years. We should get used to it.

In 2016 during Trump’s campaign, I went to one of his rallies in Kansas City, MO. Inside the event venue, multiple protesters disrupted the rally. I watched as Trump dealt with it. He didn’t get angry, he handled it. Upon leaving, I was greeted by protesters screaming in my face. “Love Trumps Hate” and “Go home Racists!” I saw police officers trying to control the crowds. I saw people my age, angry and screaming. Again, it was handled.

Every day it seems there is a new protest. Whether it be women protesting for their rights, or young people arguing about their president. I am faced every day knowing that in our country I support the enemy.

Let our voices be heard. If we have something we want to say, let’s say it. But should we do it by disrespecting our President? Are our voices being heard? Or should we be seeking to find a way to change the problems we see?

I support our President and that means, I expect him to stand by his promises. I want him to “Make America Great Again”, bringing back American jobs, protecting our citizens and reuniting our country.

I support our President. I see the future he can give our country. I want to see him "Make America Great Again."

But that's not the common consensus in the country. The choice to support President Donald J. Trump makes you sexist, racist, and/or a fascist. I'm a millennial, and a conservative which doesn't always go together. I am pro-life, believe in the right to bear arms, support lowering the financial assistance and allowing people to overcome poverty through programs provided by the government instead. I believe we should buy and sell American, and bring back our jobs.

So, I support our president

Not a favorable opinion, but it is my opinion. I see the things this country needs, and I think Trump has a plan.

"How can you support someone like THAT?"

"President Trump isn't peaceful."

"He's going to destroy our country."

I believe he is going to be successful in protecting our country. I want to see the opportunities for growth in our relations with other world leaders. I want to see terrorism decline.

I think he will. I don’t know what will happen, only time will tell. But here is to four years. May it be the best times, and may we get through every struggle we are faced with. But may we all decide that being united will get us farther than division.

I support our President.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
