SuperBowl LIII: Who Will Make It and Who Will Fall?

So as of right now we just finished Wild Card Weekend for football. For the NFC we have the Eagles going to the SuperDome to face the Saints, and we have the Cowboys traveling all the way to LA to play against the Rams. In the AFC we have The Chargers going against the brutal Patriots in New England, and the Colts are going against Andy Reid and the Chiefs back in Kansas City. The final eight are here to fight and quite frankly I’m not sure what’s going to happen.

When this is up the winners will be already on there way to play for the conference championship games, but when I’m typing this the divisional games haven’t happened yet. Personally, as an Eagles fan, I would love for them to beat the Saints and make it to the NFC conference game. If the Rams lost to the Cowboys and the conference game was them vs the Eagles I would be so happy. How lit would that game be?

For the AFC divisional games, I really want to see the Colts and Chargers move on to the AFC conference game. The Patriots are just so overrated and no one likes them unless they have Massachusett connections, and I just think the Chiefs will choke with Andy Reid (no offense buddy).

Let me just explain my beliefs/predictions. Eagles: have momentum, every game since week 14 or so has been a playoff game for them, and they have that faith. Saints: haven’t shut anyone out since week 11 (against the eagles), had a bye week to lumber around, and yeah I just like the Eagles. Cowboys: they believe in Dak. Dak is going to push himself past his limits to get his team far. Rams: Gurley and Goff. They are the point makers in this team. Their defense struggles a bit, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Dak causes them issues.

Colts: same thing as the Eagles in a way. They’re fighting to stay alive. They have that true moment to make them want to keep going. Chiefs: their offense is insane, but their defense is not. They’ll let passes go by and let the enemy get the yardage they need to score. Chargers: Phillip Rivers was looking mighty fine and so was that defense. They got a lot of fire power. Patriots: I hate them.

Honestly who knows what it’ll be in the SuperBowl this year. What I would want to see is the Eagles against the Colts because I love the Eagles and my dad loves the colts. What I think it probably will be is the Chargers and Rams. Either way I’m going to be watching the SuperBowl this year because I won’t be at college yet! Crazy right?

Well I hope you football fans out there are getting excited for these games coming up. Enjoy week and happy football. GO BIRDS!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
