Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. Yeah... so, that’s a thing. If, for whatever reason, you have been able to look past Trump’s misogynistic, racist, and bigoted comments from his campaign, you have to admit that it is ridiculous that the new US President is not a former senator, governor, or general, but a wealthy reality TV star. It is like the world has become a joke-- fiction seems more realistic than reality.

That is why I started thinking that almost anyone would be a better president than Donald Trump, even some comic book super villains. And Trump definitely did not do himself any favors by quoting Bane at his inauguration. So, here is a list of five super villains that I think would make a better president than Donald Trump.

1. Lex Luthor

He might come from a background of wealth like Trump. Luthor might also have intense feelings about powerful undocumented aliens like Trump. But one thing that Luthor has that Trump lacks is a super-genius intellect. If Trump makes an enemy, he throws a fit on Twitter. If Luthor makes an enemy, he builds a suit of armor powered by kryptonite. Lex Luthor also has much more political experience, winning the presidency in 2000 before an abrupt end at the hands of Superman and Batman.

2. Sinestro

He has a massive ego and used the power of a green lantern ring to become the dictator of his home world of Korugar. So, why would Sinestro, the rogue green lantern, make a better president than Donald Trump? Sinestro, without a doubt, cares about his home world and genuinely wants to unite his people, and he would never make a speech that would make his people feel divided. Everything Sinestro has done, he has done for his own concept of justice.

3. Poison Ivy

She might not care about mankind, but she has been a strong advocate of womankind and plant-kind. Trump has made numerous comments that would lead many to believe that he is a misogynist, causing dozens of protests, the biggest being the Women's March that took place the day after Trump’s inauguration. I doubt that protest would have happened with Dr. Pamela Isley AKA Poison Ivy in office. Trump has also made many concerning statements about the environment and climate change. With Poison Ivy in the White House, the environment would definitely be her first priority.

4. Bizarro

There is not a lot to say about Bizarro. He may be a bit dimwitted with a short temper, but that apparently does not make a man unfit for office. Bizarro would be a perfect president to replace Trump. Why? Because Bizarro is number one.

5. The Joker

I am actually kind of surprised that I put the Joker on this list. He is probably more unpredictable and more dangerous than Donald Trump. How can a monster like the Joker be an improvement compared to Trump? Well, the Joker is quick and adamant about refusing to work alongside Nazis... unlike some people...

If you are a Trump supporter and you are feeling attacked or offended by this article, let me assure you, this article is just a joke. When the 2020 election comes, I promise that I will not be voting for Lex Luthor.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
