No self-respecting New York Giants fan can root for the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl 52 for any Giants fan is a real living nightmare.
We all know that the majority of Philadelphia Eagles fans classless. They stormed the streets after their NFC Championship win, screaming "Fuck Millie" while carrying signs down the streets. For those of you who don't know, Millie is the 99-year-old who was given a Super Bowl ticket and a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan.
I get it, they are one of the four organizations who has never won a Super Bowl, and that city is insane about their sports. But, still classless performances.
Sure, like any other person that's not a fan of the Pats, we are overseeing them in a Super Bowl, and listening to fans gallivanting around screaming in everyone's face "FIVE RINGS FIVE RINGS OMG FIVE RINGS", but are we really ready to see the Eagles win a Super Bowl? That city will be a post-apocalyptic city out of the Day After Tomorrow.
But, that doesn't mean that Pats fans are an easy walk in the park, either.
I grew up in New England, so yes, I was used to getting harassed, until '07, and '11.
Pats fans are possibly the most pompous fans in the NFL. We get it, your organization was a dumpster fire full of disappointment and fans tears until Drew Bledsoe in the 90s, and without him becoming injured and throwing Tom Brady in, we wouldn't know Brady like who he is today.
Sure, going to the Super Bowl for the eighth time in this century with the same starting quarterback, head coach and owner is incredible.
What Tom Brady has done for the NFL in a millennials lifetime is incredible, and there is nothing to take away from that, but when your fan base baits people on social media and in the office to argue with you about how great their team is, it becomes obnoxious, and that's why they are in the topmost annoying NFL fan bases. They aren't far behind the Cowboys.
And that's saying a lot.
For a New York Giants fan, this has become our worst living nightmare. Sure, we have done our damage to the Pats, still being the only team with the same quarterback to beat the Pats twice.
That's right, Eli damn Manning is the only quarterback to beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. He did it twice.
So here's to another Super Bowl Sunday full of beer, cheese and wings, and waiting for the 2018 season to start.
