The end of summer break is quickly approaching, and it's time to reflect on what made your summer a blast or something to put in the past. Some people spend their summer working to earn some money to have for the school year. Others live their days by the beach with no worries in the world. However you spend your days off from school (unless you are one of those unfortunate souls who takes summer classes), the time always seems to go by in the blink of an eye. Before you know it, the end of summer and the beginning of the fall semester creeps up on you. Here are some thoughts many students have nearing the end of summer.

You realize there's only a couple of weeks until school starts.

You take a look at how much money you made this summer on your last paycheck.

At least all the summer clothes are on sale.

You wonder why you didn't get the "summer bod" that you wanted.

You realize you have no time left to find that summer love you dreamed of.

You don't know what to make for dinner anymore.

You told yourself you would do schoolwork over the summer.

It's the hottest and sunniest time of the year.

You sleep until 12 to catch up before sleepless school nights begin.

You realize how much you have to spend on textbooks for the upcoming semester.

Coach wants you to tell him how your summer training has been going.

But you made lots of good memories in those three short months.

Whether you're feeling upset that summertime is coming to a close, or you're excited to get back to school with your friends, be sure to make the most out of these last sunny days and warm nights.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
