My favorite part about summer (besides sleeping all day) is all the new movies that are released. One of my favorite things to do with my family is go to our local movie theater and spend hours there watching movies. Sometimes, we'll watch multiple movies in one day and end up spending the whole day at the theater.

The summer kicked off with Avengers: Infinity War. This movie has been highly anticipated by Marvel fans around the world. It is the 3rd Avengers movie to be released, but it is certainly not the last. I think it's safe to say that this movie absolutely wrecked me. I am a Marvel fanatic and this just ruined me. I'm not planning on giving an spoilers, but this was a tearjerker for sure.

Deadpool 2 came shortly after the new Avengers movie. I have yet to see it, but I know that it's probably filled with raunchy humor and others things that make it Rated R. Ryan Reynolds does have a special place in my heart so I will have to see it eventually.

Solo: A Star Wars Story came out, and despite the thoughts of critics, fans LOVE it. The story follows a young Han Solo and how he came to be the fastest pilot in all of the galaxy. Heartthrob Alden Ehrenreich plays the infamous role of Han Solo, and let me tell you, he's phenomenal.

If you're looking for a movie that literally encompasses the word "BADASS", Ocean's 8 is the movie for you. Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, AND Helena Bonham Carter. Do I need to say more?

One of the movies that I'm most looking forward to is Crazy Rich Asians. Don't let the title freak you out. Based off of a novel by Kevin Kwan, this movie is filled with comedic relief, family values, and love. The trailer looks absolutely AMAZING and let's just my best friend and I will be there the minute it releases in theaters.

Chris Pratt looks absolutely heavenly in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. That man has come a long way since playing Andy on Parks and Recreation. Who isn't a fan of dinosaurs combined with a hot guy AND the stunning Bryce Dallas Howard? The two reunite, in this sequel to Jurassic World, in order to save the dinosaurs stuck on the island from an erupting volcano. It hits theaters this week so make sure to go check it out!

Finally, the movie that absolutely EVERYONE has been waiting for, INCREDIBLES 2. It has been 14 years since the first Incredibles was released and everyone has been dying for the sequel. Well, it's finally here and let me just say that it is incredible (pun intended). Seriously, stop whatever you are doing right now and go watch this movie. You won't regret it.

If you don't want to be a couch potato all summer like I probably will be, I highly recommend that you go see one or all of these movies!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
