Having recently recovered from midterms and with finals right around the corner, it’s crucial to have some study tips-tips that actually work and will lead you to success!
1. Organize your notes.
Every random looseleaf paper and every typed outline. Gather it all up. Put it all together, and organize it. You’ll be grateful you did.
2. Communicate with your professors.
As in all aspects of life, communication is key. This applies to school as well.
3. Use your planner.
Writing everything down goes along to committing to complete the various tasks/assignments you have. Write what you have to do and commit to doing it.
4. Get enough sleep.
Sleep is necessary to function. Getting an adequate amount of sleep is the first step to being a successful student and person in general.
5. Create your own practice questions.
A good method to memorize material is to come up with questions that could possibly be on your exam.
6. Make the most of your time.
Time is such a valuable thing, especially when it comes to school. Good time management skills are crucial!
7. Form study groups with your classmates.
Creating study groups is motivating, and it’s a great way to make friends!
8. Start studying earlier.
Don’t wait until the last minute. Chances are you’ll regret it, and end up having to cram. No one likes to cram!
9. Find a quiet, comfortable place to study.
NOT your bed. It’s important that your studying spot is distraction-free, and easy to concentrate in. Don’t make the study process harder than it has to be!
From one student to another, just do your best. These tips are fail-proof; I swear by them.
