9 Signs You’re A College Student Who’s Undeniably Addicted To Coffee

As someone who not only works at a coffee shop but also lived next door to one this past school year, I can definitely say I drink a little too much coffee. I mean, can you blame me? If you're like me, you can probably relate to these nine signs that you're addicted to coffee, too.

1. You say your go-to order so often it’s muscle memory at this point.

It's funny, because sometimes I'll want to order something different, and I still end up saying my usual order because it's just so routine to me.

2.  Others know your go-to order, too.

Yep. Anytime a close friend goes to grab me a coffee, they'll say, "You want your usual, right?"

3. When you come back home from college on breaks, getting coffee on a consistent basis is so much more difficult.

It was much easier when I could just walk five minutes through campus to the nearest coffee shop.

4. Your weekly schedule at college includes stops for coffee.

And if plans get changed, you have to make sure that you'll still have time to grab some.

5. You know what times the best coffee shops on campus open and close.

I'll admit, this might just be because I worked at one, but I paid attention to the times each one on campus was closing. Especially my favorite one.

6. Doing homework just doesn’t feel right unless you’ve got some coffee sitting on the table, too.

And that's just one more reason why it's so difficult to do homework in my own room.

7. Your Snapchat streaks always seem to include a picture of you doing homework with some coffee nearby.

Just so everyone knows how much you love it.

8. Your friends always like to tease you about how much coffee you drink.

To be fair, they have a point.

9. Having to plan out days to NOT drink coffee so that you don’t spend too much money.

It's hard, but necessary.

So, if you're a college student who loves coffee as much as I do, you can probably relate to these nine things, too. But hey, at least it makes us more productive, right?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
