As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your cares on Him because He cares about you." I hope this series of letters will help you or someone you know!
Dear Person Trying to Find Yourself,
I want to start by saying that I have been there. I have felt like I didn't have a purpose or any idea of what I wanted to do with my life. At one point, I wanted to be a meteorologist.
Briefly, I wanted to be a forensic scientist because shows like The Flash made it look cool. In the end, I chose to become a math teacher. I felt like God was leading me toward a life of being an example to others, and a person who helps others succeed in life.
My point is, it's okay to not know what you want for your life. However, what God wants for your life is so much bigger than anything you or I could ever fathom! He wants to grant us eternal life through His son Jesus. He wants a future for you that glorifies and honors Him.
What does this mean? It means that, despite where you may be in life, God is with you all the way. Think about the poem "Footprints in the Sand." The writer asks God where He was in the times he needed Him most.
That's where God says, "My child, that is where I was carrying you." No matter what you are facing, God is with you! Whether you are indecisive as to whether you want to be a doctor or a teacher or a meteorologist, or you are struggling to find yourself in any other way, God has your back all the way!
Remember that no matter what you face in life, God is there to carry you through! Whatever you are struggling with, God will not fail you. I will enclose a video that talks about laminin, and it comes from a preacher named Louie Giglio. In the message that he talks about laminin, he is speaking about the many pieces of evidence and reason why God cares about us and exists. I hope this helps you in some way.
I hope this letter helps you out. I hope this reminds you that our God is bigger than the struggles we face. Remember 1 Peter 5:7.
God Bless.
