Everyone tries to save money at some point. Whether you are working extra hours and know a little bit more cash is coming your way, or its summer and you're a broke college student trying to save up for money to live off next semester. You expect it to be so easy but saving money is a lot harder than it looks. You can't say no to pizza take out for the 5th night in a row with all your friends right?

1. Whenever someone suggests take out.

How can you pass up Chinese food or pizza with my friends?! You just can't! It's impossible!

2. When the coffee maker is acting up again.

I CAN"T AFFORD DUNKIN DONUTS EVERY DAY! Why must the coffee maker break? This must be the universe conspiring against me so that I cannot save money.

3. All of your friends are going to yet another concert.

"Fine! I'll go." After missing out on the first two, you can't help but whip out that credit card. You're starting to feel like a soccer mom between camp counseling and sitting at home drinking wine on a Friday night, you need a little more fun and excitement.

4. Going to the bar on a Friday night.

"I'll just have a beer, I'm really trying to save money." We have all uttered that sentence on the way to go out with our friends. But we also know that is never the case. With your friends as the great influencers they are you are going to have much more than one beer.

5. When talk of friend vacations comes up.

No! Please don't go, not without me, I cant handle seeing the posts on Facebook and and Snapchat. Why do I need a job, why do I need to save money?

6. Finally giving up.

Everyone just take my money! You can always make more money, but you don't want to miss out on an amazing time with your friends. FOMO is real, and it is the killer of bank accounts.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
