Maybe I am just incredibly extra, but when I know I have an important occasion coming up like a formal or a wedding, I buy my dress weeks in advance. Not to mention brainstorming different ways to do my hair and make-up so I can assure I am putting my best look forward.

4. The side effects of the crimson tide.

​Whether you're bloating, aching, or breaking out, your monthly period is the most unwelcome guest and is a struggle all of us deal with.

5. The pressure to dance with a guy after he buys you a drink.

What happened to guys just being nice and chivalrous? Why MUST we feel this weird pressure to go twirl around and pay more than an ounce of attention because a guy bought a drink? Do you want a gold star because you spent $10?

6. Two Words: Sticky Boobs.

For some reason, clothes are being made with less and less fabric and necklines are going deeper and deeper, and you know what that means! You're either going commando upstairs or putting on a sticky, uncomfortable, piece of rubber or fabric to *somewhat* cover you up.

7. The constant groping and catcalling.

When I walk in the streets of the city, it is hard for me to walk by a crowd of boys without staring or whistling, and I don't believe that has anything to do with my looks. Creepy men love staring at girls and making them feel uncomfortable, and the second we yell back, it’s like hell has frozen over, and the men are in awe. Oh, and don't even get me started on the groping that men do in a crowded bar. Why is that even a thing?

8. Automatically being second-guessed because you're a female.

This is just a fact. Men, and sometimes even other women, are more likely to doubt a female. This is something the third wave of feminism is trying to crush, but unfortunately, these things don't change overnight.

9. Being emotional with men

Why is it a guy can get away with being affectionate and saying bold, emotional things even if you're not even there yet, but if a girl initiates the affection and the emotion, the guy freaks out? Did you catch that? Guys can cross the line with words, and we can't.
