Ok, I'll admit it: I am probably the pickiest eater out there. So, with that, you know this will be 100% authentic (and for many, relatable). I've been a picky eater since I could start eating. Seriously, I only ate certain colored baby foods. And 19 years later, not much has changed. So, my fellow picky eaters, I understand your daily struggles. This one is for you.
1. Having a rotation of approximately four items that you can always eat and never get tired of.
Usually consisting of chicken fingers, grilled cheese, pasta and pizza.
2. Having to look at the menu before you go to a restaurant to make sure there will be something for you to eat.
And by something for you to eat, I mean one of those four items.
3. Being very specific about the way you like your food.
"Can I have a BLT without the bacon and tomato and sauce on the side, please."
4. "Branching out" is not in your vocabulary.
At least not food-wise.
5. Still ordering off the kids' menu even though you're in college.
No. Shame.
6. Always hearing, "Try it! You'll like it!"
Sorry, but chances are I won't.
7. When you actually do try something, you take the smallest bite possible.
A for effort, right?!
8. Saving so much money on food because all you need is spaghetti and meatballs while your friends have some extravagant gnocchi with truffle dish.
I am perfectly content with my "boring" dinner.
9. Never being able to pick a restaurant that all of your friends will agree upon.
Pizza > Everything
10. For some strange reason, not being picky whatsoever when it comes to desserts.
Desserts? I'm so in!
