The concept of working out seems to be two sides of a coin -- you either love it or you hate it. It also seems like people on opposing sides cannot understand each other: people who love working out don't understand how someone wouldn't like it, and vice versa. I personally enjoy working out every day, and here are the struggles that only other workout addicts will understand.
1. Showering seems pointless
Why should I put in the effort to bathe when I know I'm just going to get all sweaty again tomorrow? Personal hygiene is hard.
2. Why wear anything but workout clothes?
You know that you're going to the gym at some point, so why put on real clothes? That just means more laundry, so really you're just being economical.
3. Makeup is also a total waste of time
If you are going to get sweaty and gross at the gym, why waste your time with makeup you're just going to wash off in a matter of hours? Just embrace your natural beauty.
4. Sore muscles are just a part of your everyday life
Working out every day means that if you aren't limping around because of some sore muscle, then something is probably wrong. You have also already mastered the granny-walk.
5. The hunger is constant
One of the results of working out every day is that you get hungry all the time. So more exercise = more food... I'm good with that math.
6. A "late night" means staying up until 11 P.M.
Working out every day gives "beauty sleep" a whole new meaning. If you don't get at least seven hours of sleep, your friends will want to take cover.
7. Some people seem offended by your healthy routine
I don't know if this only happens to me, but for some reason people who don't work out get offended or defensive when I tell them I work out every day. My exercise habits have nothing to do with anyone else, so don't blame me for your own choices.
