Struggles All Sarcastic People Will Understand

I'm sorry, did you say something?

18

1. Always having to reassure people that yes, you were joking.

2. The phrase "Sorry, just kidding" is a phrase you say at least 5 times a day.

3. On the flip side, whenever you actually are being serious, NO ONE EVER KNOWS.

4. You try so hard to be enthusiastic and show it, but it's just so damn impossible.

5. You know the power of the eyebrows…They communicate much more without having to spare the effort of verbal communication.

6. You're usually emotionally detached. Let's just say emotions are not our forte; trying to express how we feel just comes out as sarcasm.

7. First impressions never go well— which makes job interviews, meeting the S.O.'s parents, group projects, etc. that much worse.

8. You find it hard to trust bubbly, genuinely happy and sincere people because you are the exact opposite of that.

9. Resting b**** face is a natural state.

10. Whenever you try to be genuinely nice, people always think you're secretly insulting them.

11. When you find someone who's equally as sarcastic as you are, it's the best because you just get each other. No apologies needed, let the insults commence!
