There are a lot of badass female characters that are in movies. Here are some female characters that need more recognition. They have great attitudes and a lot of strength.

1. Mona Lisa Vito ("My Cousin Vinny")

Mona Lisa Vito (Marisa Tomei) is in the movie "My Cousin Vinny." She is the finance of Vinny and is his partner throughout the case, Vinny is trying to win. Her attitude and style are amazing and she doesn't care about "talking like a lady." She's a character that is always talked down to even though she knows more than most of the characters. She shows them up with a bang.

2. Number Six ("I Am Number Four")

Number Six (Teresa Palmer) is one of the numbers in the movie "I Am Number Four." She is strong, independent and fireproof (literally). Her character has a couple of appearances but mainly shows up at the end with one of the most badass scenes.

3. Slim Hiller ("Enough")

Slim Hiller (Jennifer Lopez) is the main character of the 2002 movie "Enough." She is in an abusive relationship but then decides to leave it and takes her daughter with her. She ends up training herself how to fight and becomes the ultimate badass.

Mathilda (Natalie Portman) is from the film "Leon: The Professional." She is a young girl who loses everything and decides to join her neighbor in becoming an assassin. Although she doesn't do any killing of her own, she learns the rules and how to hold the weapons. Her personality and strength are what makes her such a badass and her style is iconic.

All of these characters are strong and have a lot of fire and unique personalities. The movies these characters are in is worth the watch.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
