Weight is such a weird concept. People stress over it and look in the mirror hating themselves for it. BUT WHY?

Why are people really stressed out about their weight? Unless there is a major health concern, weight is literally nothing relevant. Does someone’s weight deter them from getting their dream job? No. Does someone’s weight reflect if they are a nice person or not? No.

Being too over or too underweight does not determine a person’s personality, charisma, or character.

There are women out there who sit and envy other women for being skinny or having the perfect body. But why? The type of body someone has does not coincide with the type of person they are. Someone who is very self-conscious about how they look could be the nicest, most-caring, good soul. This same person is devoting their time wishing to look like someone else. But, those “someone else’s” may not be all so perfect themselves.

In reality, what is more important? By focusing more on the type of person you are, rather than the body you have, maybe there will be more pleasing people in this world to be around…

Stop stressing about what you look like. The same amount of energy you exert worrying about your body could be used to do more productive, life-strengthening things. Say you put aside your conscious thoughts and insecurities. Your whole day would be spent enjoying yourself fully, and feeling present in the things you are doing.

Take time to do something you love. Go travel, experience exciting things. The sunset looks the same whether you weigh 90, 170, or 300 lbs.

Enjoying life is not about what you look like. Enjoying life is being in the moment and seeing everything in front of you without a clouded or unfocused mind.

Stop worrying. Freakin' start living.
