How I wish I could see the world like you.
Without the pain and suffering and long-term consequences, you seem to miss out.
But the world isn’t black and white; issues are far more complex than that.
Abortion isn’t as simple as killing babies, and greenhouse gases aren’t going to be cut down if we stop eating meat.
There is more to it than meets the eye and how I wish you could see that.
Feminists are not anti-men, and education is a fundamental right.
The cost of living has risen faster than minimum wage, and America has regressed to a third-world nation.
Nobody wants to take away your guns. We just want to have them better regulated with those regulations actually enforced.
People are still discriminated against, harassed, assaulted, and murdered for their skin color, sexual orientation, and doing their own thing.
Our political atmosphere is balkanized because we try to label each other into such polarized groups as a justification to be rude to each other because they might fit under “liberal” or “conservative." In reality, most people are pretty moderate if you just have a simple conversation with them.
America is a mess, and the only way we are going to be able to change it is if people start admitting that issues are not black and white. In order to solve these issues, we need to get over our differences and talk.
So please stop bringing up the same old arguments, and actually have receptive conversations with each other.
That is how we will solve these issues; by actually working together.
