Do you just have the worst acne? Do you want to have the best smelling aroma around? Are you just over using generic brands that just do not seem natural?

You clearly need a little LUSH in your life. I am talking about the all-natural body and cosmetic brand LUSH. You probably are not too familiar with the brand as it is slowly growing in the Atlanta market.

LUSH is essentially ah-mazing. Let's start with how the brand uses fresh ingredients to make all of its products. You can tell too. Let's say I spend the night at a friend's place to save myself from driving home after too many cocktails or simply a lack of sleep. The next morning I hop into the shower and use a generic bottle of shampoo or a Dove soap bar.

Not that I can complain, because I never bring my own products, but these mass produced brands make me feel icky. I can smell the chemicals that large cosmetic companies put in their products as well as feel the difference on my skin and scalp.

I know you think I might sound crazy, but I tell no lies. The organic and rich ingredients have a longer-lasting effect that over time has a positive impact on your body. I ultimately feel cleaner when using my LUSH products.

My personal favorites? I am so glad you asked. The first one would be Ocean Salt. I use this body scrub whenever I just want a nice deep cleansing feeling on the dirtiest of days. Then there is my Dirty shower gel. Ironic, right? And how can I forget my Enchanted Eye Cream? This stuff is magic in a bottle. Rub a little bit under your eyes to get rid of those baggy messes that can ruin a selfie. Be careful, though, you have to wear it every day because it's basically crack.

Not only are these products the bomb dot com, dot org, dot edu, dot UK, dot gov, but they are also made ethically. Nothing LUSH-related is tested on animals. So not only does the company not participate in animal testing but they only get their resources from companies that are like-minded. The ingredients are also gathered from around the world to ensure the best quality possible.

At this point in time, I have probably convinced you to switch over to LUSH products and you are more than likely on their website. You are so excited, but then you see the prices. So let me explain that as well.

LUSH pays fair wages to everyone involved in the process of making their products. So that means that employees making the soaps and shampoos actually get paid fair wages. Unlike most companies that take advantage of cheap labor laws in the Eastern hemisphere, LUSH does not play that.

So your Old Spice soap might only cost $4 but it was also manufactured by the thousands while your LUSH was made uniquely by one person. It might be double the price but it feels good knowing that you are contributing to a brand that sees profit as secondary to maintaining ethical practices. Also, most of the products will last you a lot longer than generic brands. Just get the larger size. It might cost more but it is more bang for your buck!

Make sure to check out the Lenox location inside Macy's or the Perimeter location right above the food court! They also feature an online catalog and a shop at Mall of Georgia for those of you OTP folks! Now, have fun picking out all your favorites!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
