With Finals week approaching it's easy to lose your head! Here are 7 tips to not go crazy.
1. Breathe
Before you lose your mind and pull your hair out take a deep breathe and meditate. This will relieve your stress and give you a chance decide to make a battle plan.
2. Write it out
Write all that is due and also write out what causing anxiety. If you're stressing about a paper, write your plan of action out and get to it!
3. Carve out 15 minutes to relax
It's easy to forget to take time out to chill during finals. But setting aside time will give you the sanity you need.
4. Sleep!
Getting sleep will boost your confidence during finals! Sleep is key.
5. Eat healthy foods
When I say eating healthy, I mean eating all the food groups to have a balanced meal. Eating healthy can cause you to be happier and less stress.
6. Talk to a friend
If finals have you bent over backward call a friend to vent or just to have a conversation. Doing so will leave feeling better, and it's always nice to know that someone else is going through the same thing. See a counselor
7. Use peppermint essential oil or chew peppermint gum.
Peppermint has a lot of useful purposes, but one thing it does is it cause you to focus. So just before your about to take a final, dab a little dot of peppermint oil on forehead and chin.
