On November 25, 2016, one of the most popular TV shows made their highly anticipated comeback. The mother-daughter duo we all know and love, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, returned on the Netflix original show Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

After nearly 10 years off of the air, Gilmore Girls came back and answered many of our questions, but also left us with many other questions.

Now that a full weekend passed by, it’s safe to say that spoilers are expected in this article, BUT I made a vow to not reveal the last four words of the show, so I will keep my promise.

Being late to join the bandwagon and being a young fan of Gilmore Girls, watching the special event was almost coherent with the rest of the show, but I understand that viewers who have watched since day one feel an overwhelming amount of nostalgia and a connection to the characters within the show.

After the long hiatus and being left with an unsatisfying end to the original show, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, was extremely satisfying, yet angering way to feed into the fan obsession with the Gilmore family.

During the four seasons of the year, the Gilmore girls go through numerous ups and downs that define their future, as well as settle their pasts. With many guest appearances and the return of the characters we all love, this comeback was successful and ultimately, really cute.

The nutty townspeople are just as unique, Emily Gilmore is just as controlling and complex, and the town of Stars Hollow never looked better.

One the concerns lies with Rory’s love life and the overall health of her career. After rejecting Logan’s proposal and pursuing her career endeavors, Rory still had some growing up to do.

Unfortunately, Rory’s love life remains in the air and undecided while she struggles to regain her momentum in her career.

The audience has always wanted a happy ending for Rory and in an unconventional way, she gets it.

On the other hand, the forever-perfect couple Luke and Lorelai finally make it official and become husband and wife, after 9 years of a steady relationship. Also after a rough patch involving surrogates and Rory’s old pal, Paris Geller.

The romantic aspect of Gilmore Girls has come to a (somewhat) satisfying end, while giving the audience something to wonder and contemplate (yet again).

Strangely, I feel like this is not the end of the Gilmore girls’ story. I don't know if they will wait another 9 years or so to finally reveal and answer certain questions, but I hope they will spare us all, and give us the immediate satisfaction we deserve.

The Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, was one of the better comebacks of this year. It truly answered many of the questions that were raised the last season, and gave the audience a taste of Stars Hollow.

Fans of all ages would love this four part event and will be glad to hear the witty banter, the family love, and the complexity the comes with the Gilmore Girls.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
