1. Waking up and remembering that 1D’s new single is out

2. Listening to "Perfect" for the first time


3. After listening to "Perfect" for the 50th time

Because it's totally normal to know all the words within minutes of it's release, right?

4. When somebody asks you: "Have you heard One Direction's new single?"

Like, do you even know me?

5. When they tweet that the song is available on iTunes

Here have all of my money.

6. When somebody asks you how many times you’ve listened to "Perfect"

Since it's not actually socially acceptable to say 15,000 times.

7. When you hear the lyric, "If you are looking for somebody to write break up songs about."


8. When you give your friends no choice but to listen to it too

You're going to listen and you're going to love it.

9. When you realize that this will probably be there last single for a very long time


10. When you realize there is a music video coming out next week and you get to go through all of this again
