Now that break is over, the cruel reality of a full class load once again approaches. No matter your major or year, here are the struggles every college student faces during that first stressful week of classes.
When you get that email saying you're enrolled in a class on Blackboard

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but can I enjoy the rest of my break?
Reading the syllabus for the first time

What have I gotten myself into?
When your alarm goes off for your 8am
How did I do this in high school?
Going to class and realizing how many people are in the class
Big study group anyone?
When the professor reads over everything you already read in the syllabus
We know already!
When they announce that the final will be cumulative
Why do we need to be retested on material we've already been tested on?
When they go straight into chapter 1 after going over the syllabus
Wait, I thought this was syllabus week, not syllabus 5 minutes
When they announce a quiz for next class
I just got back from break, my brain is not ready for this transition
Realizing you have to do it all over again for five more classes
I'm basically paying to suffer
Finally being done with classes for the day
*pours glass of wine and parks in front of the TV for a relaxing, unproductive night*
Then realizing you have to do this for the next four months
Spring break, wya?
Whoever said syllabus week was easy lied.
