The End Of Spring Semester, As Told By "Grey's Anatomy"

"We're adults. When did that happen? And how do we make it stop?"

We're nearly in the middle of April and you know what that means — almost the end of the spring semester where you're trying to meet all of your deadlines and struggling to bring your grades back up before it's too late. Here is the end of the spring semester as told by "Grey's Anatomy."

1. When you've realized that your procrastination has finally caught up to you and not in a good way, so now you have 32 papers to write, 10 presentations to present, and a cure for world hunger all due by tomorrow.

2. When stress eating seems like the only solution.

3. When you're studying and then somehow, magically ending up getting distracted (and you're also procrastinating again).

4. When you're trying to cram a whole semester's worth of information in your head at once (and it isn't working).

5. When your professor tells you that you can't slack off and fall behind all semester and then expect to pass the final.

6. When you're hungry, tired, and running on less than 3 hours of sleep and someone asks you if you're okay.

7. When all of your finals are finished and it's finally time for summer vacation.

We're all in this together, people. The semester will be over before you know it, even if it's simply just a never-ending cycle of "I just have to get through this week" every single week.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
