5 Spring Makeup Trends That You Have To Try

First things first, happy spring! My favorite season has finally arrived! The heat hit us hard in Houston, kind of feels like an early summer, but it's alright. Fashion and makeup trends change literally every season and there's always something new to try. Some aren't just for spring or haven't necessarily been discovered this spring, but they are definitely huge so I included those as well. I compiled a list of some of the most interesting spring makeup trends all makeup lovers should try (if not all, at least one):

1. Crystal nails and iridescent nails

Fashion week had tons of simple, subtle, yet wildly elegant nail styles. Many probably didn't even notice them, but they definitely did add to the entire look of models. I definitely want to give iridescent nails a try! They look super cute and chic!

2. Colored eyeshadow

This something I first began noticing at Fashion Week and then on Huda Kattan, better known as Huda Beauty's, Instagram page. A lot of liquid lipsticks are being used as eyeshadow especially colorful ones! It's interesting to see people going out with bright yellow, green, red eyeshadow and actually look really good!

3. Cut crease

I have yet to try the cut crease look on my eyelids! It looks so cool and there are so many ways of doing it whether you want it subtle, wild, bright, or even natural! I think it's a great trend and it's here to stay for a while.

4. Highlight

One of my favorite makeup products is highlighter for sure! I can make it either really subtle or really bright and it honestly looks great both ways! With all the new palettes including the Glow Kits by ABH, the Glow Kit by ABH and Nicole Guerriero, the yet to launch Huda Beauty Pink and Golden Sands Palettes, and many many more, highlight this spring is going to be popping!!

5. Glitter lips

This was seen on the runway a lot during Fashion Week and on Instagram by various beauty bloggers as well. It looks crazy and it probably is crazy, but it's just so cool!

There you go! Some crazy, fun, and cool spring makeup trends that would be fun to try at least once in our lives!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
