It's just about that time of year again... Spring cleaning. It is so important that it even has its own time of the month! For some, it just feels like you're being punished for something you didn't do...Even if that something was leaving a piece of pizza molding under your bed since September. And for some this time is some heinous trick by wives or husbands to get their significant others to share "quality time". And then they're people like me who can't help but use this time as a holiday.

If you know the show FRIENDS or have heard your friends constantly make jokes relating to the show you may know the characters that the show focuses on. You may have even made your spirit animal after one of these goofballs.

There are different reactions when it comes to this time and with each reaction there is a FRIENDS gif that goes along with it.

1. The one where you have no motivation for this crap.

2. The one where you move as slow as possible so it looks like you are still helping.

3. The one where you set the alarm as to make sure you don't waste any hour of the day to knock out the entire house and the garage in one day!

4. The one where you feel defeated because you were only able to get one room somewhat clean and then the toddler comes in and destroys EVERYTHING.

5. The one where you make a list the day before.

6. The one where you have been working on the same list you made a year ago.

7. The one where you feel so accomplished after you finish your entire list you treat yourself.

8. The one where you're feel accomplished even after only doing one thing on the list so you treat yourself.

9. The one where you're significant other said they had tons of "fun" things planned for your date today and you quickly realize it was a trap. (But you stay anyways because you love them and you need those brownie points...)

10. The one where you're reading this right now and feel the urge to clean.

11. The one where "cleanliness is close to Godliness..." Taken out of context but whatever floats your boat honey.

12. The one where you question why you even opened an article with the words "spring cleaning" in the title.

13. The one where you don't know why you're still reading this article about cleaning...

14. The one where you ABSOLUTELY LOVE CLEANING and that every day is Spring Cleaning for you.

15. The one where you dread the day your co-worker comes to work from their day off and tells you they spent the whole day cleaning...

16. The one where you're eating a Pizza Pocket right now and threw the garbage towards the trash can and missed. And just in spite of this article, you're going to wait till your clean freak roommate picks it up for you.

17. The one where you know cleaning leads to finding old memories and you spent the rest of the day making the house a mess looking for more memories. (Hey... maybe you'll find that piece of pizza from September under your bed!)

18. The one where you mention cleaning to your roommate and you both look at each other and say, "Nah"

19. The one where you budget for this time of the year to purchase the top of the line all organic, child safe, dog safe, grease and oil free cleaners that smell like peppermint.

20. The one where you're impressed with yourself for even cleaning so why spend the extra money and use what you got? (The story of a college student on a budget)

Where ever you may or may not fit in this list congratulations. You're a human who has their own mindset and way of working. There's no right or wrong way to do it. But do your best to not compare and contrast your house to your neighbors.

You have your own life and stresses. Worrying about what people think about the paper plates left on the table from dinner two nights ago is not fair to you. Just do you and leave the rest. You're doing great!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
