Staying Home For Spring Break As Told By The Office
The Office

Staying home for college spring break kinda sucks. You watch all of your friends go on luxury vacations in Florida and the Caribbean while you're stuck home with nothing to do. While having a break from classes for a week is nice, you end up getting really bored and lonely. So who better to tell it than the cast of The Office?

1. Coming home and seeing your family and friends you haven't seen since winter break

2. But then becoming incredibly bored after a few hours

3. And then seeing all of your friends vacation photos on Instagram

4. When all your friends are texting in the GM about how great their spring break in Florida is

5. And you really only have a few simple requests from life

6. You start to get so bored that you do a bunch of stupid things around the house

7. And you spend all of your money shopping and going out to eat

8. When you get an email from your professor that you have work due over break

9. And spending hours stuck at home trying to get all of that work done

10. When your friends who are on vacation ask how you're doing over break

11. When all of our friends' Snapchat stories are of them lying on the beach

12. But when break and your days of boredom finally come to an end, and you get back to college with all of your friends

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
