Having only about a month until move in, I am so beyond excited to call my sorority house home for the next year. If living with 50 of your best friends who double as sisters doesn't just scream fun, I don't know what does.

To my future roomies and favorite people, here is to a great year! Here are just a few of the things I am most excited for with move in coming up so soon...

1. Midnight snacks and late night laughs

I don’t care if it is after a crazy night out or just up late cramming for an exam, this house will be having a whole lot of laughter and, of course, a whole lot of food.

2. Realizing how random, funny and weird each other are

Whether it is singing random lyrics to a song I probably don’t know the words to, or eating 4 different dinners every night just because I am bored, you all will see me at my weirdest self, and visa versa.

3. Sharing the struggle of walking to and from the house

Having our house so far away from downtown is going to be a struggle. Get ready for packing 12 of us in a 4 person uber or walking back together freezing because the ubers are too expensive...lol. But no matter what, no sister travels alone.

4. 'Family dinners' every night

With dinner and lunch being served at specific times, means everyone will be eating at the same time...no more times awkwardly eating alone because all of your friends have already eaten!

5. Getting ready for tailgates at 6 a.m.

There is no possible way to oversleep a 6am tailgate with 50 of your sisters all getting ready throughout the house at the same time. Plus, there will always be something new to wear with the millions of tailgate shirts scattered around the house.

6. Having over 50 closets to borrow clothes from

Hope you all don't mind me asking to borrow that one shirt you wore in your Instagram picture 2 months ago, or the football jersey you wore to the last tailgate. We will be taking sisterhood of the traveling pants to a whole new level.

7. Always having someone to hang out with

Thank goodness you all will be living, at most, a flight or two away so I'll never be without a study buddy, a shoulder to cry on, a friend to go out with, or most importantly, a person to order pizza with.

8. Not having to leave the house for chapter

I think we all can agree there is no words for this one except, THANK GOODNESS.

9. Morning chats after a fun night out

Nothing like laughing at the fun (and maybe stupid) things that happened after a night out.

10. Always having someone to go to for school help

With this many of us living in one house there is bound to be someone to help you out, or even better, be in the same class as you. Forever blessed for sisters with the same major as me.

11. Having 50+ people to ask for advice

Whether it is late night vent sessions, stressing about midterms, or needing boy advice, I can't wait to have all you there to talk to 24/7.

12. Best thing of all, getting to live with a group of amazing girls

If we aren’t already best friends, throughout the year there is no doubt that we are going to get closer than ever. So excited for this year and all the craziness and fun that will happen in this house!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
