The week of sorority recruitment is one of the longest weeks of your life. If you're one of the new members, it is one of the most intimidating things that you will ever participate in. All of the stress, disappointment, excitement, and lack of sleep combine to make a pretty exhausting time for any girl who is going through it. There are some very high highs and there are some very low lows but every girl comes out of the other side alive. The cast of "Grey's Anatomy" understands these feelings perfectly.

1. When you see a girl show up to the first round wearing heels:

2. When you leave a house and realize that you do not fit in there at all:

3. When you've gone to 10 houses in one day and you can't smile any longer:

4. When the first round is finally over and all that you want is food:

5. When you get your list for the second round and you hear a girl say that she still has all of her favorite houses:

6. When you get cut from your favorite house and you hear another girl talking about how she is still in:

7. When you say something stupid at one of your favorite houses:

8. When you're at a house and you realize that you've been rambling on for too long:

9. When you're talking to a girl during a round and you realize how much you have in common:

10. When you're talking to a girl and she makes a joke, but you're so tired that you can't even laugh:

11. When it's pref round and you decide to actually act like your normal self:

12. When you're going into pref round and you've heard that there'll be food:

13. When you've finally made it through pref round:

14. When your friends try to convince you that you definitely got a bid from the house that you wanted:

15. When it's the night before bid day and you can't sleep:

16. When you roll up to your house on bid day:

Finally, you have survived the longest week of your life. It's all worth it in the end because you have the best sisters who anyone could ever want.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
