Your mom can be obsessive when it comes to certain interests. She's addicted to YouTube and procrastination, so if you want something done by a certain date, tell her an earlier deadline so you can have it completed on time.

Seriously! By then she should be better with her time management, but she's not. It works for her in some stressful way, but it works!

Your mom is a random woman and will question you about absurd and popular topics. Always be prepared to give her an answer. If you give a generic answer that doesn't fulfill her needed answer length and specificity placed in her head, then she will continue to ask questions until she gets what she's searching for.

She's a little sensitive. While you don't have to sugarcoat some of your words and meanings, just don't be rude. She will stare you down and hurt your feelings. She'll apologize, but she will not be disrespected. Learn quick. She might play mind games, it depends more so on your personality and how you can handle certain things.

Your mom will love you no matter what. She will not shove you away, no matter your choices. If you do something against the law, she will smack you upside your head, but she'll still love you. Just don't involve her in it, she'll probably be the one to bail you out. Probably.

Your mom will be nervous about raising you "correctly." She wants the best for you and for you to love yourself no matter what. She doesn't want you to feel like you can't come to her and talk. Her ears will always be open and she won't assume you're out doing wrong just because you've talked to her about it.

She's ready to have you so she can be someone you can come to. Yes, you can talk to your friends, but sometimes talking to an adult can help. While you guys may not be best friends because you still have to listen to what she tells you, she wants to have an open relationship to where you can come to her about anything that's bothering you so that you can both find solutions.

Your mom is going to get on your nerves and probably be the corniest person you've ever met. But she's waiting for you and will always love you.
