If you're like me, you love cozying up on the couch on Sundays and just lounging around while that good ole' NFL plays on in the background. With every good football game comes the snacks. But what snacks are the best and most appropriate for this traditional Sunday occasion?

1. Buffalo Chicken Dip

Skyline dip is a Cincinnati thing for sure. If you're from Cincinnati and skyline dip isn't on your coffee table on Sundays or at your tailgate before the Bengals game, something is wrong. Even if you aren't from Cincy, you should DEFINITELY give Skyline dip a try. I promise you it will not disappoint.

-8 ounces of cream cheese

-1 package (13 oz.) of frozen Skyline chili or 1 can (15 oz.) of Skyline chili

-8 ounces of shredded cheese

-Tortilla chips

3. Guacamole

Guacamole should be at every party/event, in my opinion. There's nothing a little guac can't fix. I have been using this recipe for years and now my family makes a special request that it will indeed make an appearance at the next family party. Get your avocados together and let's make some guac!

-2 avocadoes

-1/4 red onion

-1/2 tsp. of salt

-1 tbsp. fresh lime juice

-2 tbsp. of finely chopped cilantro

-1/2 of a small jalapeño (optional)

-Tortilla chips

4. Beer Cheese Dip

Closely related to queso but with more of a football vibe. This cheese dip is phenomenal for just about any situation. You can pair this dip with chips, pretzels, etc. The list goes on!

-2 packages (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened

-2/3 cup of beer (your choice, alcoholic or non-alcoholic)

-1 envelope of ranch dressing mix

-2 cups of shredded cheese (your choice)

-Your choice of what you use to dip!

5. 7-Layer Taco Dip

This is a fan favorite in my household! My mom's recipe for this taco dip is out of this world. Especially if you like Mexican food, this dip is for you!

-1 can (16 oz.) refried beans

-1 tbsp. taco seasoning mix

-1 cup of sour cream

-1 cup of salsa

-1 cup of shredded lettuce

-1 cup of shredded Mexican cheese

-2 tbsp. of sliced pitted ripe olives

-Tortilla chips

You can even add your own twist to the dip by adding in some homemade guac into the layers!

Super bowl season is going to be here before we know it! Test out some of these delicious snacks and bring some along with you to parties to share with your friends! No matter how your team may be performing, at least you will have an amazing dip to fall back onto if your team lets you down.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
