Nowadays, almost everyone has a smartphone, and gaming has become an essential element of them. During our free time, awkward breaks in between classes, or long road trips, we all have spent some time feeding our gaming addictions. Application developers worldwide work hard to make sure we are getting the best gaming experience possible.
Here are some classic games everyone has tried at least once.
Angry Birds
Angry Birds is one of my least favorites because I could never get the hang of it. The pigs are evil! I never understood why so many people enjoyed playing this game. It was so popular that it has made even more money by selling Angry Birds merchandise. Stop the Angry Bird's t-shirts please!
Temple Run
One of my favorites, Temple Run, involves running from monkeys on a narrow path. When I was addicted, I spent more time shopping for power-ups with my coins in the Temple Run store than I did shopping at the mall. That is when you know you have a problem.
Words With Friends
Words was the first well known game that was player against player. You can link it to your Facebook and play your friends. Those few practice rounds with the randoms online didn't ever prepare you for the competition between you and a friend.
Candy Crush
If I see another Candy Crush commercial on TV, I might scream. However, this is easily the most addictive game ever created. It seems so easy and there are so many levels to play; therefore, it has probably kept you up all night before.
Flappy Bird (May it R.I.P.)
Flappy Bird gets my vote as the most stressful game of all time. I have seen people break their phones over this game. Also, I have witnessed many people cuss their phones out over this game. I would speculate this game has caused people health problems, but that might be going too far.
Trivia Crack
The name couldn't be more perfect. This game is all anyone is playing right now. The spinning wheel will always land on the category you don't want. Everyone hates the "Art" category, so when you score the little Art dude it's a huge relief.
I don't know if I am ready for the next big game, but I'm sure it will be just as fun as these!
