We've all had those nights where we come home and launch ourselves into our bed instead of taking off our makeup and performing our skincare routine. While one night every now and then probably won't make you break out instantly, it's important to not make it a habit.

Skincare is a necessity, and there are so many beneficial products out there to make it seem like less of a chore. Here are 7 things you can do on the regular to keep your skin glowing and healthy for many years to come:

1. Wear sunscreen

While it's certainly tempting to let your skin bake in the summer sun, looking like a lobster is more harmful than any tan could be worth. Researchers suggest that just one blistering sunburn in your youth can double your chance at getting melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer.

2. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

Moisturizing your skin allows for a hydration boost and can seep anti-aging properties in deep. If you're in need of a lightweight yet hydrating moisturizer, check out this one from Neutrogena that has raving reviews.

3. Exfoliate.

This product by Soap and Glory allows for the removal of dead skin cells and leaves your body moisturized afterward!

4. Take off your makeup before bed.

By using a makeup remover wipe or facewash before bed, you are actively taking steps to unclog your pores. Plus, you wake up feeling way less groggy than you would have with a full face of next-day makeup on...I've heard great things about this brand, and they offer convenient makeup remover wipes.

5. Opt for natural, organic makeup brands.

One of my favorites, Physicans Formula, offers a full makeup line that is actually good for your skin. According to their website , their products are "hypoallergenic, safe for sensitive skin and eyes, and created without any of the 150+ known harsh ingredients found in other personal care items". I'd say that's pretty hard to beat, especially when the products are reasonably priced.

6. Regularly clean your makeup brushes.

If you use brushes to apply foundation, powder, bronzer, or basically anything else, think how dirty they can get over time. Without proper washing, this buildup only adds more bacteria to your face. Washing your brushes with cleansers like this on the regular can help keep your skin looking great and blemish free.

7. Drink plenty of water.

Keeping your skin hydrated not only depends on moisturizing it, but also drinking plenty of fluids. With enough water, your body is able to cleanse itself of toxins. If you're not a huge water drinker, add some lemons or cucumbers for a fun spin that's super tasty!

Keeping your skin healthy shouldn't be a chore; it's a necessity!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
