Happy Holidays everyone! Between Thanksgiving and the end of January is over twenty major religious holidays. Because of that, many people are buying gifts for their loved ones and friends. Some people are very picky and do not appreciate any gift they are given. I know I have to deal with those kinds of people all the time. So, I finally figured out the ultimate gift guide because these six gifts are usable, affordable, and lovable! Any person, even the most stubborn person ever, will love these simple gifts.1. Portable phone charger.

1. Portable Phone Charger

This first gift that any person can use is a portable phone charger. Many people are on the go and very busy, thus they forget to charge their phone. Also, finding an outlet in class or work can be hard. These chargers can be kept in their pockets. A portable phone charge usually works with any kind of phone. You don’t even have to ask what brands they have! That makes this gift ten times easy to buy. Any stores sell these portable charges, like Walgreens, Target, Five Below, or Urban Outfitters. Or, many are sold online including Amazon. They can come in a plain and simple style if you don’t know them well enough. Or, you can buy it in a cute shape if you know what they really like! All genders and ages will love this gift.

2. Adult Card Games

The second gift idea is more for young adults or high school students. Adult card games are hilarious to play and are great at parties. They will be able to use this gift with their friends and remember that you bought it for them. All genders love to have a good laugh, and probably played Cards Against Humanity before. Cards Against Humanity is one of many games you can buy them. Maybe they will even play the game with you! Amazon, Target, and Spencer’s sell these games. Go ahead and give this gift a try!

3. Succulent Plants

Now back to gifts that are age appropriate to all people. Succulent plants are a great gift to give because they can survive in the winter. They do not need much water, and come in very cute pots. I love my plants because during the harsh winters, a little bit of green makes me feel happy and energized again. The environment is very important and these plants help remind people to be humble and care for the Earth. These cuties come in many shapes and sizes; some even have little flowers on them! Many local nurseries that are still open have these plants for very each. Even Walmart still sells succulents in the winter time. If a person hates plants, they will still love these happy little plants. You can find some succulents at Harry & David, Urban Outfitters, and Fab.

4. Portable Mini Speaker

If half of these gifts aren’t going to work out, try to get the party started with a portable mini luetooth speaker! I own one and use it a lot more than people thing. These come into cute and simple designs. Any human being loves music if they can hear! Bluetooth is great because it can hook up into almost any device. Some light up, some look like pets, some even have a wristband! Check out these options from Amazon, Lord & Taylor, and Best Buy.

5. Anything Warm and Fuzzy

If you live in New Jersey, you know how cold the winter can get! Anything fuzzy and warm is a great gift to give to someone. This seems like a girly gift, but there are slippers and bathrobes that men can enjoy! Also, pillows, blankets, and socks are always used and helpful for people. There are some unique gifts, like a mermaid tail or a heated blanket. Many stores sell this wonderful and fuzzy gifts like Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Macy’s, and Kohl’s.

6. Stationary

Lastly, stationary is a very clever gift to give to a picky person. Even if they hate every gift they got this holiday season, they still need to send thank you cards for the gifts. If you give them a nice stack of thank you cards and pens, they will love it! Trust me on this one! No one likes going to the store to buy cards to send out. After you buy them cute office supplies, paper, and pens, they will be using them. These stubborn people will also realize how thankful they are for your gift and appreciate this. Try going to Amazing Savings or an office supplies store for this gift idea! You can also find them here at Stapels, Walmart, and Francesca’s.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
