So it's another year of singlehood, and all of your friends have gotten hooked in by the love bug. You may want to sit in bed and watch Netflix or call that ex-boyfriend so that you don't feel alone. Do not do either of those things and do not feel sorry for yourself because you are amazing.

Being single doesn't me something is wrong with you. There isn't anything wrong with being independent and going solo to dinner or the movies or concerts. You are young, smart, and beautiful and that is something you shouldn't be ashamed of. Your twenties are the years where you are going to date so many people, and at the same time, you are figuring out who you are and what you want in your life. You figure out what you want in a relationship and your self-worth.

Just because your girlfriends have their boyfriends doesn't mean you have to settle for something just to settle. You don't have to stay with somebody out of obligation or to save face. You deserve to be happy, and if that means being single for a while, then that's how it's gonna be because it's apart of life and growing up. So this year do something for yourself.

Go to dinner at your favorite place with your roommates. Stay in, and binge watches some movies from back in the day, a little crying never hurt anybody. Go to the spa and spoil yourself with a shopping spree at your favorite store. Just because your single doesn't mean you can't have fun. These are the best years, and there's so much to enjoy during it.
