Dear High School Self,
You are in the midst of a major life growth. You are at the point in life where friendships come and go, but at some point you will figure out who you will grow old with; who will remain your forever friends.
You are suppose to be experimenting life right now. It is ok to not understand your passions yet -- that is what high school is for.
You need to stick up for yourself and your beliefs. This is how you avoid losing yourself within a crowd. It is OK to not think the same as others. Diversity is what makes the world so unique; don't be afraid to be your own person.
Things will work out, despite the cliche saying that everything happens for a reason. Listen to your mother when she says that because it is simply the truth. You will be involved with what is meant to be, have friends that are meant to be your friends, and end up committing to the college that you are meant to be at.
Your high school days will fly by, don't wish them gone. They are the simplest days of your life.
Enjoy the simplicity, comforting days of high school, they will be some of your best years.
Sincerely,
A High School Grad
