7 Signs You're Actually A Ravenclaw At Heart

We would rather be curled up at home with a book of good spells the next day to unleash on all those who judged us.

Calling out all Harry Potter Fans! Are you a chosen Ravenclaw by the sorting hat, or are you merely a fan of the books that hopes to be a Ravenclaw? Do you see yourself as mysterious, amazingly intelligent, quiet, and intimidating at times? If you do, well, have no fear, here are seven signs that you are a Ravenclaw at heart.

1. We usually don't want to be seen in social gatherings.

Seriously. What's the fun in hanging out with people who like to waste time, dumping alcohol, and dancing on tables? We would rather be curled up at home with a book of good spells the next day to unleash on all those who judged us.

2. We love reading.

Books, books, and more books. If there aren't any more books, we will find them. We will go to extreme lengths to find them, and if we don't, we will be going to our fellow Hufflepuff friends for help, because they always know how to be positive and smile and eventually get people to do whatever. We just don't really want to try, we just want to let other people do stuff for us.

3. We are the teacher's pets.

Yea, so don't mess with us. Because once you get on a teacher's bad side, you will face their wrath and then face ours. And you really don't want to see us mad. Because we will not give you chances to fix your behavior.

4. We are the judging types (so don't make eye contact with us).

You know that awkward moment when you stare off into space and you see someone looking back at you with direct eye contact and they don't bother to look away? See, that's disrespect right there. Don't stare at us until you're at the same level as us.

5. We hate Slytherins.

All they do is brag, look down on others, and try to get everyone's attention with their many accomplishments. See, we believe in peace and only lashing out when necessary, so sometimes we just want to banish all of them out of Hogwarts. But, in time, we learn to live side by side with someone because they know that they can't mess with us anyway.

6. We are highly intelligent.

Because that was how our life was made thanks to our highly intelligent parents. Whether its half blood or pure blood, we strive to be the best at everything. Come to think of it, why else would our mascot be the raven?

7. We are mostly introverts.

Last not but not least, why would we waste our time talking? The last thing we want to do is give our secrets away. The only people we talk to is ourselves, our professors, and our spells because those are the things that are most precious to us. So, please leave us alone and don't try to figure us out.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
