With the cold weather fast approaching in New England, I wish I could escape somewhere warm and fun, aka, I’d rather be at Disney right now. If you’re like me and you can’t stop thinking about the Happiest Place on Earth, you’ve probably experienced all 30 of these signs that you’re a real Disney Fanatic!

1. You know useless facts about the parks, like all of Disneyland, can fit in the parking lot of Magic Kingdom. Yup, I said that right.

2. You’ve gone so many times you can recite the spiels like “!Por favor, manténgase alejado de las puertas."

3. You have your favorite restaurants you prefer to go to every year.

4. Somehow people can just tell you're an expert and ask you for directions. Sometimes you’ll even point with two fingers like a real cast member.

5. You have more fun talking to cast members about their jobs than going on the rides themselves.

6. You know hidden secrets around the park, like how the old phone in The Chapeau really works!

7. You have a hard time picking which Disney accessory to wear. Ears? Headband? Hat? Tiara?

8. You collect something from the parks to remember your trips like mugs, pressed pennies, etc.

9. You’ve lied about it being your birthday at least once so you can get a special button.

10. You fangirl when you see your favorite characters at a meet and greet and you don’t care that you’re an adult.

11. You look for hidden Mickeys on rides instead of paying attention to the ride itself.

12. You have at least one annual courtesy hotel mug laying around your house somewhere.

13. You feel personally attacked when they change a section of a ride or take away a ride altogether.

14. You prefer the old fast pass system.

15. You take advantage of Magic Hours.

16. You find inside jokes like, “When’s the 3 o'clock parade?” funny. Guys…it’s at 3 o’clock!

17. You own Disney’s Greatest Hits CD or have a Spotify list of songs from the parks, not the movies.

18. Of course, you have music from the movies, too.

19. Everything tastes better when it's in the shape of Mickey Mouse.

20. You have a traditional photo spot you have to take every time you go back.

21. You’ve learned not to run back to your hotel when a massive storm hits. Wait it out in a show and then the park is practically all yours.

22. Half of your closet is filled with Disney apparel.

23. You know the best locations to watch the parades or fireworks from.

24. You put a Disney quote on your graduation cap.

25. You have at least four lanyards of pins you’ve acquired over the years.

(The others fell off.)

26. You still call Disney Springs Downtown Disney.

27. You have 25 versions of the same picture.

28. Your dream is to go to Disney during the Holiday season. Or if you’re lucky enough, you already have.

29. When you leave, you’re already planning your next trip.

30. You never want to grow up.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
