We've all been told, "money can't buy you happiness." While that may be true, money can buy you coffee and that's close enough for me. If you’re a full-blown coffee addict like myself, here are 23 things you know all too well:

1. Your day doesn’t start until you’ve had your coffee

2. But honestly, did it even wake you up?

3. Your local barista most likely knows you by name

4. And if you're lucky enough, they start your order before you fully make it through the door

5. Literally nothing in the entire world smells better than a fresh pot of coffee

6. Your whole day is canceled if your morning coffee isn’t good

7. Any type of social interaction before coffee is an absolute no-go

8. Whoever said coffee is strictly a morning drink has never been more wrong

9. You’re not yourself unless you’ve been caffeinated

10. People probably judge you for the amount of caffeine you consume and you’re totally okay with that

11. You can never have too many mugs

12. Is there anything more satisfying then slowly pouring cream into your coffee? (No. The answer is no.)

13. One cup is simply not enough

14. You most likely don’t trust tea drinkers

15. There is nothing worse than a caffeine headache

16. Most of your paycheck is spent on coffee

17. You go to bed excited for that first sip of coffee when you wake up

18. Size matters. Always.

19. Being served weak coffee is offensive.

20. Decaf is a downright sin.

21. You’ve learned to ignore that feeling where your heart is ready to burst straight out of your chest.

22. You’ve fully embraced the addiction at this point.

23. But if anyone asks you're not addicted to coffee. You just happen to be in a committed relationship with that glorious beverage.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
