Summer is a time for the beach or vacations. It can also be a time for binge-watching a TV show you’ve been meaning to catch up on (One Tree Hill anybody?). It is not a time for network TV shows. However, starting this week, good and memorable TV is back! September kicks off new and returning shows from networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, and even Bravo. So, sit back, relax, and grab your DVR remote because the fall lineup is jam-packed with some amazing shows.
1. NCIS
NCIS left us in season 14 with the suspense of what was going to happen to Gibbs and McGee after they put their lives in danger in Paraguay on a rescue mission for a missing Marine. Now season 15 picks up with them captured by rogue pirates. How will they make it home?
3. This Is Us
This is Us was the breakout show of last season. It portrayed what an actual family is like- something that hasn't really been portrayed on TV before. This season we get to see Kate planning for her wedding, Kevin pursue a new relationship, and Randall tries to overcome his grief over losing his father. But the big question on everybody's mind is how does Jack die?
3. How To Get Away With Murder
Every season of How to Get Away With Murder leaves audiences with cliffhangers. The last one was no different as Annalise tried to clear her name from the allegations that she killed Wes. With flashbacks helping to see Wes' last day, we might finally find out who killed him.
4. The Good Doctor
The Good Doctor is a new show starting this month on ABC. It's about an aspiring surgeon who has Autism and Savant Syndrom and the fight that ensues in order for him to be able to be a practicing doctor. Freddie Highmore stars and this role is just slightly different than the last one he played on Bates Motel.
5. The Middle
The Heck family is entering its ninth and final season on ABC. As per usual, the family is back to their crazy antics, and as hard as they may try, some things don't go just the way they planned.
6. Dancing With the Stars
Dancing With the Stars has entered its 25th season. With former pros coming back to dance such as Mark Ballas and Cheryl Burke, it should be an amazing season. There is a star-studded cast, ranging from Jordan Fisher of Hamilton to Frankie Muniz returning to the spotlight. The race for the Mirror Ball Trophy couldn't be more competitive.
7. Saturday Night Live
SNL is starting its 43rd season. It kicks off the season with host Ryan Gosling and musical guest star Jay-Z. With the show walking away recently with four Emmy's along with a great line-up of hosts, this season may be in the running to be funnier than the last.
8. Below Deck
Below Deck returns for another season aboard the luxury yacht, Valor. With new and returning deckhands, stewardess', and the veteran Captain Lee, this season is in for some intense drama. There is a lot more going on below deck than meets the eye!
