The new semester has started, which means it's time for a new show to start watching! Whether it's to find a show to watch between classes, on the weekends, or in the background during homework, we all know how important it is to find THE show for yourself. There's just so many to choose from. If you're having trouble, here are 5 you definitely cannot go wrong with (and yes, they're mostly about the law or humorous):

1. "Suits"

The show that will make you want to become a lawyer in three episodes or less. But it will also motivate you to work your butt off for what you love. Check out these seasons full of quick remarks, power moves, and of course, lawyers.

2. "White Collar"

Want something lighthearted but also following the crime scene? Want something to keep you interested, but also able to just keep it on while studying? Want something with love, crime, and a good looking main character? Then this is for you.

3. "Gossip Girl"

It's always the right time to binge this. So much drama you will never stop watching. Except to study and do homework, obviously. You'll fall in love with either S or B, and will never get enough of the lifestyles and fashion. Your life will be changed forever.

4. "The Office"

This show is packed with humor that can be enjoyed all times of day and is especially binge-worthy on cold nights in your pajamas. The relationships are real, the pranks are to die for, and the dynamic is like nothing else you've seen.

5. "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"

You can't go wrong with a classic comedy. The cast is a great mix of personalities, each you can identify with during different experiences in your life.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
