1. The X-Files
With the recent announcement that this paranoia-inspiring sci-fi nineties classic will be returning for an eleventh season, Netflix needs to put the previous ten seasons back on. Like, right now. I want to believe!
2. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
C'mon, Netflix, I wasn't even halfway through season two when you nixed this one. Who doesn't want to watch Sarah Michelle Gellar kicking vampire butt?
3. Studio Ghibli films
I know I'm not the only one who grew up with movies like Kiki's Delivery Service. Sometimes nostalgia hits hard and you want to rewatch the movies you loved when you were a kid.
4. Classic Disney Movies
Netflix does have some Disney movies, but they're mostly Disney Channel originals or more recent releases. It's missing a lot of classic Disney movies, like The Lion King, Peter Pan, and all the princess movies.
5. Castle
Castle has, to my knowledge, never been on Netflix (at least, not in the last three or so years), and it should be. It recently finished its run on ABC, and it'll be a perfect addition for Netflix.
6. The Godfather Trilogy
There is no excuse for this trilogy to not be on Netflix. The Godfather is a cinematic masterpiece. Get to it, Netflix, before you wake up next to a horse head.
7. Harry Potter
This should be self-explanatory. The Harry Potter movies (and books!) have defined a generation. They need to be rewatched over...and over...and over again.
8. Star Wars
Yes, even the prequels.
Again, self-explanatory. With Episode VIII coming out in December, this is the perfect time to add the previous movies so fans can recap.
9. Ghostbusters
Not just the 2016 version (though it's my personal favorite); put all of them on there!
10. Matilda
Matilda is a feel-good movie about a little girl who uses her telepathic abilities and book smarts to outwit her abusive family and villainous school principle. Featuring Danny Devito as both a bad guy and the narrator, and a young and adorable Mara Wilson as the protagonist, this should definitely be on Netflix ASAP.
11. Food Network shows
Alright, Netflix, you took away The X-Files, you took away Buffy--but did you have to take away all the Food Network shows?! Chopped, Cupcake Wars, Worst Cooks in America...those are comfort shows, man! Give 'em back!
12. Agent Carter
The only Marvel film currently on Netflix is Captain America: Civil War, and there are Netflix original series featuring Marvel heroes. Peggy Carter fans were let down horrendously by the mess of a second season and ultimate cancelation of Agent Carter, so I need Netflix to pick it up, or at least let me rewatch it. Please.
Every month, Netflix users win some and lose some. Some shows get taken down, but more are always added. Still, sometimes even with thousands of choices, we're still left with nothing to watch. What do you want to see on Netflix?
