One of the worst feelings is buying a pair of shoes you've yearned for and suddenly they are no longer stylin'. All that time imagining yourself strutting down the streets in a cute new pair of shoes that you can't wait to show off. If you have a pair of these shoes, then let out a sigh of relief because your money was well spent.

1. Chelsea boots

You can't go wrong with a pair of these boots. Tuck your jeans into them, wear them with a midi skirt, or some stylish leggings. They look stylish with everything and they're always a classic.

2. Platform heels

Make sure you always have a comfortable yet good looking pair of heels in your closet. If you're struggling to find a pair, which happens often, try to find heels with a platform. Trust me, you'll look and feel much more stable walking around. Your feet will also thank you later.

3. Mules

Everywhere I looked last year, I constantly would spot mules. On the streets, in stores, they were taking over the fashion world. It won't change in 2018. These classics are here to stay. Slip these bad boys on with jeans and you're good to go! Stylish yet easy.

4. Bows

This is a cute whimsical touch found on shoelaces, the top of the back of a pump, or instead of a strap on a "Mary Jane" shoe. This trend looks sweet, ladylike, and pairs well with ruffles.

5. Kitten heels

Who wouldn't want to rock one of Michelle Obama's favorite pair of shoes? Not only are kitten heels for tall women, they are for all women. They pair well with the "ladylike" trend of bows, ruffles, and frills. There's also a good chance these heels won't make you cry of pain after you lay down at night! That's always a plus.

6. Shoe booties

Another must-have classic. These booties will never disappoint. No matter what outfit. Wear them to a nice dinner or event and I promise you that you won't regret your decision. Velvet, suede, or leather. You pick the style. Can't go wrong!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
