Black Mirror is a Netflix series that has become more and more popular, with season 3 recently released, a.k.a. six more episodes of binge-watching quality material. If you haven't seen the show or any of the episodes, you should know the series is dark, almost twisted. Most of the series takes place in a twisted version of our present day, where technology has confined us in several ways. It's the perfect show for our technologically-obsessed world. Each episode of Black Mirror (named for the way our screens look when powered down) paints a different and alarming picture of our future gone technologically wrong. This show might be dark and depict some of our biggest nightmares but here are 10 reasons why I think everyone should watch it, even just one episode:

1. It's perfectly appropriate for our society, because it focuses on our codependent relationship with technology and the media.

2. It shows the dark side of technology.

3. There is so much real world application.

4. You never know the "whole deal" of the episode until the end.

5. It's an anthology -- so none of it has to be watched in order. It doesn't matter if you watch the first episode last or the last episode first!

6. It can be pretty terrifying -- it leaves you with fear and worry about our world.

7. There's almost always a message. Each episode is meant to say something different about our future and present-day life.

8. It's hard to find a solution to the problems the show introduces, which makes the viewers want to watch even more -- maybe you can be the one to change things for future generations or maybe it's just too late.

9. Even though the show depicts doom and disaster, it's often crushing our hearts with spectacular stories about grief, love, and loss.

10. There's such a wide range of stories that there's no way you won't be able to relate to the show in some way or another.

This show is fascinating but this is a warning: if you are brave enough to watch, you might just find yourself questioning the meaning of your life and what your future holds. You might come to the realization that maybe technology isn't as great as our society has made it out to be.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
