She Muse is a non-profit organization that was created by six Black women who are dedicated to enhancing the “empowerment and betterment of women of color”. Their goals are to inspire women of color through providing events and content on their social media accounts that ignite the importance of confidence and unity. The women of SHE Muse plan to refine the term #GirlBoss and create one of their own — “it’s not just about plans and discussions, SHE Muse is about actions and movements”.
Kamie Crawford, Public Relations Guru Savannah Britt, ‘It’s The Candy Shop’ owner Aliza Carter, and Brand Ambassador for Latinas En NY Wendy Tiburcio.
These #GirlBosses have surpassed milestones in their fields and have continued to advance further in their careers; those panelists giving advice to college women was quite beneficial. Finding your niche in such a competitive field can be intimidating and overwhelming, however, being able to relate to those four panelists, allows those college students to know that it’s not going to be easy, but achieving your dreams is quite possible.
@Shemuseinc is a wonderful platform where women can support and empower each other.” — Wendy Tiburcio
