We will miss you so much, it hurts.
You have brought so much to our team. Letting us laugh, cry, vent, or whatever else we felt we needed to do, but doing it with us. Giving us advice when we were struggling, inviting us over to your off-campus house when we were missing home, and even coming to our dorms just to reminisce about your younger college years. Not only are you our teammates, but you are our closest friends that we will cherish forever.
It's sad that you won't lace up your "boots" to come compete with us again, but we will play our hearts out for you all. Recognize the legacies you've left at our school, remember the feeling of winning with us, admire the accomplishments you've made these past four years, and never forget how proud we are of you. You are an inspiration to all of us.
You've left a huge role to fill, and it's a little scary knowing that the juniors are next in line, but I'm sure they'll do fine. We will miss your leadership, friendship, sportsmanship, and so much more. The team will not be the same without you, but we know that you will excel in your future. You're officially "adulting" and although you talk about how scary it might be, always know that we, your second family, will always be around whenever you DO visit.
Seniors, you truly rock. We will miss you.
"The only thing bearable about leaving college is the hope against hope that you are taking the best part of it with you." -Elizabeth Coleman
